A license is required to use PropelAuth BYO. To generate a new license, navigate to the PropelAuth Dashboard, click the + sign in the upper left to create a new project, and select Create BYO Project.

Each project is created with a Production license, intended for use in your Production environment.

Additional Developer licenses can be created. Both Production and Developer licenses have access to the features available on your plan, but Developer licenses have usage limitations. The Developer license limitations are:

• 20 passkeys
• 50 active sessions
• 1 SSO connection
• 1 SCIM connection

If needed, Production licenses can by cycled by clicking Cycle License. Once Cycle License is clicked, you will be given the option to choose an expiration time for your previous license. Both licenses will be active until the previous license expires, giving you time to swap out your license.
